Last Friday I....

decided to practice "teaching" the workout to an imaginary class around midnight! ;) Boy, was it difficult to talk it through while I was huffing and puffing! Certified T-Tapp Trainers- I salute you!

Standing: PBS, Plies, Reach Scoops, T-Tapp Twist, Hoe Downs, Lunges (front and side), Balance, Thread the Needle, Butterflies, Airplanes, Hitchhikers
Floor: OIP, Awesome Legs, Pretty Legs, HoeDowns, Advanced Hoe Downs, Diva D, Situps(the T-Tapp way-of course!)

I only have one more paper to write (extra credit), was assigned an additional math project, and have my first exam tonight!!! Oh, only three more to go after that ..Yes I Can...

It's all about motivation!

It's funny how stress can lead to procrastination;I've been feeling the weight of writing five papers, studying for four exams, completing two math projects, reading the rest of 1984 ALL by Monday, and finally finding a little time to T-Tapp. Oh, just writing that was a little exhausting.....

HOWEVER, last night I did complete an hour and fifteen minutes of the new T-Tapp Broom master instructional workout(will be released soon!)- OMG! Absolutely killer workout!! Then I also did Thread the Needle, Balance (with tweaks ;)) and Diva Derriere. I was feeling so overzealous in my endorphin high that I ate a whole medium thin crust veggie pizza afterwards mmm mmm!

I am not allowing myself to workout until I complete a few assignments and at least one study guide. I will be in this room all weekend researching, writing, studying, and T-Tapping through the stress. Ahhh, straight A's and a hot bod??? YES I CAN!!! lol

One week til exams....

::whew:: I never thought five classes would be so mentally exhausting, but it is!!!! Thank the universe this will be my last full time semester until I transfer to a university and begin working on my b.s. Yipee!!!!

I have hardly been doing Hoe Downs daily and have decided to not report what I eat because it really isn't practical for me. Confession: I drink a venti latte (with soy milk) daily and Taco Bell once a week- I am not ashamed because I can T-Tapp if off!! Plus their new fresca menu has options that are all less than 8 grams of fat.

Exercise: This morning I rolled out of bed and did PBS, Butterflies, and Diva Derriere. Prior I was very congested and during PBS I could feel the mucus draining. I plan to do more after visiting the Dali Museum (cultural activity)-I'll check back in to update!

T-Tapp 60 Day Challenge 2008

Today the T-Tapp office staff started our 60 Day Challenge!! We can't enter the official contest and win prizes, but we can still make a commitment to a better body along side the hundreds of T-Tappers who have entered!

Finishing my degree this semester and all the stress from my personal life I haven't been taking care of myself like I should be. I know I need to exercise to keep myself from spiraling, but I can't even bring myself to overcome the emotional frustration and it's inhibiting my desire to exercise. The stress is really destroying my health and I'm feeling worse and getting bigger everyday. I really don't know how to relax.....as soon as I stop myself from running around trying to please my teachers, my friends, and my family I just don't have any time to please myself. This challenge is MY piece of cake and not only will I exercise and just try to stay away from Taco Bell (oh how I love you Taco Bell!!!), more importantly I'm going to learn how to relax.


I promise myself this week:
I will resist Starbucks everyday (except today LOL)! I will replace my addiction with green tea.
I will exercise daily- even if it's one or a few movements.
I will take at least ten minutes a day to be still and silent.
